Before starting StreamLine Storytelling, I spent more than a decade in nonprofit communications. I’ve led full teams, built programs from scratch, and worked as an island-of-one.
Like so many Mar-Com-Raisers (that’s my name for comms pros who do it all), I know firsthand how heavy the load can feel. I’ve juggled strategy, content, and “just one more request” on a never-ending list.
A lot of days, I felt buried—so focused on tactics, box-checking, and other people’s priorities that I felt like I wasn’t making progress in any direction.
Sit in that place long enough and you’ll start believing you’re not very good at your job. But the truth is: you are good at what you do. The problem is, most nonprofit comms jobs were never built for one person to carry alone.
Enter StreamLine Storytelling.
Through my consultancy, I support small-to-medium health and human service nonprofits with interim leadership, fractional communications support, and coaching. Think of me as the extra brain, pair of hands, and sounding board you wish you had when everything feels urgent all at once.

Why StreamLine Storytelling?
I created StreamLine Storytelling to help nonprofits gather and share stories with ease. I chose ‘StreamLine’ because what makes great storytelling possible is having a clear process for gathering stories and the tools to share those stories well. The act of storytelling is inherently about the paths – the story(lines) – we walk with one another.
